Kaiser and Sizzix baby book

This is a Kaiser Craft Tiny Woods book I just finished.  I used three of Karen Burniston's dies in this as well as a few other Sizzix dies.  Hope you like it. I sure had a ball making it.

The front of my book.  The letters were cut with the Sizzix Garden Delight letter set. The cut outs are the Tiny woods stamp set from Kaiser Crafts.
This is the first inside page.  The green and brown I used throw out the book are from World Win Papers.  It is their Cut Mates.  I just love the texture of them.  I used the Tim Holtz Texture Fades Retro Cirque set to get the texture on the green.
The left side pop up as well as the right side are Karen Burniston zig zag  pop up.  I have found this one to be one of her easiest to do and you can make it really fun.
The right side.  The tree and bunny were fussy cut from the paper.
The next set of pages are made from me weaving the World Win papers in half inch strips and making pockets out of them.  The tag is Sizzix Tag, Super Scallop Crescent.  I cut it apart and them weaved it back together.
Same page with out the tags.
The next set of pages are done on a lighter color.
The left side is a Karen Burniston Sizzix Die.  Scallop Circle 3-D.  I wanted to add more to it so I made the two sides pop out as well.  To cover the bottom of the page i used the die and cut the paper out of white and layered it on the blue.  The cut outs are the Tiny Woods stamp and fussy cuts from the paper.
This is the last pages in the book the one on the left is the one with the pop up.
This is the Karen Burniston Cube, Twist 3-D pop up.  This is the very first time I have used this die and well there is a small learning curve for it.  I should warn you it is very fun to play with when its done and I have spent the day showing people how it works.
This is the back of the book.  The little envelope is also a Sizzix Scallop Lace.  I turned it on its end so that the tag would go in the way I wanted it to.  I always try to finish off the back of the books because I just fell it makes them look more finished and complete.

Well thank you for stopping by and hope to have a new book on here in a day or so.

My Little Yellow Bicycle tryout!!

Here are a few items I made to try out for a team.  Guess I didn't make it but that is ok as it was my very first time to do something like this and thought I would share them with you.  Thanks for stopping by and looking.

All the items were made with Little Yellow Bicycle paper and all made in two days as we were leaving and I would not be home to finish them by the dead line.

This is a shadow box I made for my dad.  I am having a box made to put it into.  The picture is of him when he was about 6 years old in 1955 or 1956.
This is the little banner.  I used one of the LYB flowers and cut it in half and glued it on a ribbon to make it pop out.  The brown leafs were from the Autumn Bliss line a few years ago.
He is always telling my kids goofy stuff and at one point told my daughter "I want to be a real cowboy when I grow up".  The letters are also from the Autumn Bliss line.
This is a one page layout of Aloura and Izabella when they came to stay the night with us.

Here they are at the park and I done this layout on one of LYBs now lines.
I also used a Sizzix's die to make the tags.
The names were done by putting letters down and inking over them and removing the letter.
This is a card I made out of the LYB leftovers.

I hope you enjoyed and I will have more stuff to down load later in the week. Thanks for stopping by.

Graphic 45 Tag

This is a tag book I made out of Botanicabella from Graphic 45.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.  The star fish on the front of the book was covered in a clear embossing powder that had a tint of green to it.  I have no clue to what company it came from as it was a gift.  All the rest is from Graphic 45 papers and inks as well.

The tag on the left has two pull out tags and the one on the right is the back of the first one the tag pulls out from the side.
The tag on the left has a flip up shown below.  I colored in the flip outs with water colors.

This tag has two pull out tags.

This is the back of the tag book.  Thank you for looking.

Box of drawers

I have the greatest job I could ask for! Working in a Scrapbook store is great.  I get to see all the new stuff as it is coming out and get to play with most of it.  There is a down fall as all my so called check goes right back to the store.  All smiles though as it works out great for us both, Jackie and I that is.  She is the owner of Scrapbook Obsessions here in Weatherford, Oklahoma.  In working there I also get to make lots of things to put around the store.  This is one of the items I made to show off the Creative Imaginations paper we have in stock. Karen Foster is the box and I wanted to show it off also.  And last is the Tim Holtz alcohol ink.  I also have to give credit to Dale Hazel as he set and helped cut out all the little pieces of this with me.  Hope you enjoy.

This is the front of the box.  Thought the old south was just to cute.

The back and yes I know most people will not see the back, but, I think setting on a dresser with a mirror on it makes it look so much nicer.  The alcohol inks work nice on the slick side and give it the south west style I was going for.
We cut out all the details from the paper and popped them up on each drawer.  I made each one a little different.

The back ground paper here was the back side of this page.  It took 4 sheets to do the whole set, but could be done in less.

I also used Beacons 3 in 1 glue to do this project.

My Baby to Bride Graphic 45 box

This is a little box I made out of Graphic 45 paper.

The top was painted a light gray and they crackled with a baby pink.

I even done the inside of the box.  I fell it makes it look more finished.
